Ok folks, have a standard top mount for my car, only bit is missing is the little thin nut thats used to tighten everything together before it goes onto the car and is then bolted on from the top.
Does anyone know the measurements/details of this little nut? Would I be able to pick one up from...
That site is another perfect example of why sigs are sh*t. Going to have a read of the thread now, if I don't get a sore head from all that crap in every post.
They are all very whiney at low revs/slow speeds as standard. Even the brand new 200s are the same. Get a vid up if you can and then we can tell if it's louder than normal.
EDIT: Does it sound like this whine by any chance

That will probably just be coincidence it happened then, it'll be because of the steering wheel. Or at least partly due to the steering wheel, you can't just unplug the airbag and the car's not going to notice. I'd concentrate on that first.
The lights will be caused by the steering wheel because the airbag is now disconnected, IIRC Trophy seats don't come with airbags in them anyway so won't be anything to do with that.
So? Things don't always go right first time.
That does look a very nice job! You'd be about £400 in our place for that so there's definetely been very little/no profit in that job.
Ahh, that's negative camber. You'll need to buy either camber bolts or camber adjustable top mounts for the front, and camber shims for the rear, which are quite hard to find IIRC.
TBH it's mostly 1.2s that are seriously low, when it's that slow who cares how it handles lol If I had kept my 1.2 longer it was going to go as low as physically possible to still get into my work/house.
Bumper off, headlights off, remove bulbs. Take apart the bit that plugs into the original bulb until you just have the metal clip. Cut it and wrap it round the new HID bulb, use it to hold the new HID bulb in place. Plug the spade connectors into the plug from the original bulb. Job done.
Or at...
^Your Monaco shouldn't have a black surround or it's got the wrong clocks in it!
I like them, though isn't it a PITA making the dash lights correct again? Like the engine management light being in a completely different position?
It's probably been replaced with a non-genuine item before you bought it. Pretty much anything short of a bit of metal will just melt the same as the bumper is. Or maybe a bit of exhaust heat wrapping? Worth a try.
No I mean the tailpipe doesn't just point straight out and bend down like that. On mine and most others I've seen it bends down and to the side, so the hole is parallel to the ground.
EDIT: See here...
