Yes the 200 is on finance, I don't drink much (lucky if it's once a month as I hate hangovers), don't smoke, don't have any other debts/repayments and still live at home. May as well do it now while I have no real responsibilities.
Check the relays underneath the dash where the bonnet pull is, right below the glove box lid, exact same thing happened to mine and a mate had managed to kick one of them out.
The 200 will stay at least until I'm 21 (another year and a half) as then the insurance doors open to big power, and I'll no doubt be tempted to try something turbo'd like a Meg or similar. I may well be too attached to it by then though.
Re: r26 progress thread. (mods delete old thread)
As Gally said, filling the number plate recess - don't bother. Just put the plate back on it looks crap with it in the windscreen.
Should order the ones off Ebay with the yellow stitching/writing to match the seats etc, very happy with mine, finishes the interior off nicely.
Have you any idea how the RS badge in the front grill attaches? May get one for mine if it's simple enough.
For future reference polishing before re-lacquering is a waste of time, just re-lacquer over them once you've taken them down with 2500 or whatever, and I hope you scuffed them over again and didn't just lacquer straight over the polish!
It'll be the auto lights. If you've switched them off previously, when you disconnect the battery it reverts the car to standard settings so they'll switched back to auto again.
Wow that looks great Daz, looks like you packed it out with options too, good choices. First thing to do is remove the airbox lid, took mine off yesterday and was amazed at how much induction growl it gives the car!
