If you're just buying lowering springs, get 60mm or it'll still look standard.
If you're buying coilovers then as low as it will go that will still allow you to drive where you need to. Mk2 non-sport Clios can be dropped 80mm and still have no issues with speedbumps etc.

IIRC the kits I got were a bawhair off £40 each with trade discount, will check on Tuesday when I'm back at work. No idea what the insert/nuts will cost, Fred says the nut is a dealer only item aswell.

Yeah they could be reused, I ended up using second hand ones from members on here, what you are saying is probably correct that they aren't expecting anyone to need to replace the insert/nut as they are metal and won't wear out. Still annoying when you ask for the full kit and they hand you...
