Ah but two identical production cars with the same mods wont make the same bhp as every car is different.
Something as simple as tyre pressures can have a effect on results i think?
On the plus side that torque figure looks pretty good for the mods vs stock.
Lambdar sensor? poor mapping? blowing exhaust?
TBH you havent got much in the way of mods really and that torque figure aint too shabby plus was your initial RR'd figure slightly high due to variations?
AFR check on a RR'd might be worth a call
You get that with everything forum related item even selling simple car parts in for sale. Folk press keys before checking they can afford it, want it or know the facts about it. Ebays the same
See on the new designed inlet thread which people are showing interest, someone put a picture up...
Stock and running a Viper mine used to get dirty then after a full year of running a Maxogen decided to give the TB a clean expecting it to be pretty caked and to my suprise there wasnt one spot of dirt anywhere to be seen! :S Dry as a bone it was.
Power of the IK must be sucking all the...
Might be wrong but im sure i read ages back of one company that does?
It is a illegal mod after all as all cars after a certain date by law have to have one fitted so insurance isnt going to cover something illegal
Are they doing the 1/4 mile strip ?
Havent been for a couple of years, just had a look on the website and cant seem to find any info if there is or isnt one on?
Fold the seats down, remove the big bar thing that runs along the back of the seat (2x 13mm socket from memory)
Once thats out its one torx in the middle of the back of the seat fixing then remove.
Bought my ph1 from new and its now over 112k on the clock.
Was modded at 60k and has been tweeked here and there right up to last year.
Its pretty much as good as the day it rolled out the factory. I dont drive it any different because of its age.
Problems iv had since new have been one...
The thing that confuses me is Alps made a Mac version and a normal version of the model im looking at.
If it was compatable why would they need to make 2 versions? or is it more the other way about where if i was running a Mac and had a ''normal'' printer then it wouldnt work?
Found a...
Is there a way you can convert a printer designed to run on a Macintosh to work with a normal pc ?
Some kind of converter or cable maybe?
Found a Alps Micro dry printer but its designed to run on a MAC OS and i only have a normal PC :(
Cheers
Whats the big deal how it looks even if that was it? its what it gains that counts!?!
Folk cant see cams but they still buy them :clown::rasp:
Its not going to look a million miles from that picture im guessing.
Rolling Road results will be the big one.
This thing wont be far off full...
Reading a mag today and it had the 182 Cup vs the 172 Cup. Had a section where a dealer had given prices for brakes, clutch, cam belts etc etc etc, geeeezzzzz talk about taking the P with the prices.
Think some dealers are having a laugh
The sliding bar can NOT drop out if its been put in, even if the little securing clip has been left out.
Geezzz both pads must have been rattling about like mad. Get the other side checked quick !!
No insurance = illegal and is a Police matter
Have insurance but voiding it by mods that arnt covered or found not to be covered is a insurance matter not a Police one.
VOSA would do a whole number of checks, broken headlights, bald tyres, dodgy fuel etc but if your cars breaking the...
-2 ^^
Police have got better things to do than get involved with insurance disputes.
As for minor gains rubbish. Decat on a 172 is probably the best value for money bolt on mod you can do. 182 gains to be had but less so due to the better cat
How come its blowing? Surely the flangers are the same?, its just the pipe bore thats different ? :S
Different way round but folk often leave cats on and mate them up to full 2.5 stainless systems
Crikey, you paint a bleak picture there lol
Main key area is the cam and auxiliary belts plus pulleys and tensioner. If these are fine the rest is usually down to wear and tare.
Common faults, well, one i read most about on here and have experienced is the throttle body / cable high...
Exactly.
Alloy wheels have a habbit of being bent even when the seller says their straight. Been burnt in the past, lesson, always check them first.
Worth a punt though at that price suppose
Change MOT testing stations because it looks like he's out to fleece you as he should know if its discs and pads causing the problems just by a simple inspection
Leaving the belts aside i reckon its a pretty decent price. You should be able to knock it down to 3k.
There might be a lot of cheap ph1's kicking about but are they any good? Topic the other day on here says not...
3k for a good one surely cant be sniffed at
