    Their right it can. I had my car on the quarter twice, once with a blowing exhaust and the second time with it fixed and the difference was half a second. Dosent sound a lot but thats like 3 or 4 car lengths from point to point roughly. Taking it to a rolling road and having a AFR check...

    Is your timing out ? - quite a lot of folk seem to suffer this due to back street garage belt changes. Might be worth looking into.

    The inlet pipe isnt pure foam is it? :o;) Should be a difference in flow aswell due to being less restrictive with that set up ?

    LOL You wouldnt want it with the miles its racked up lol Over 112k now. Do you not fancy getting some headwork done on yours or replacing just the head rather than the engine? Ben managed to do mine for 600 i think it was although it was a while back now.

    Not sure matey. I think the headwork has certainly helped a lot but i think its more to do with the whole combination of mods seem to work together well with this engine.

    No because the results shown vary too much to prove anything. How can a standard 182 with 161 bhp have 174lb/ft ?? Theres one running a Viper with other breathing mods thats not listed as being mapped something it would need really so that figure cant be a true reflection.

    Some very mixed results there ( Timmay - 182 Racing Blue - 161bhp 174 lb/ft... WTF?? :S) so hard to say but what im getting at, V6 airbox wouldnt appear to do anything special over the stock 182 box. Only way though would be to test both back to back

    172's usually make on average 168 bhp. 182 to make 170 surely has to be slightly below average power? Either way, proof surely that the V6 airbox does basically bugger all so not worth changing?

    Add 5 bhp and your right. Tested on a Volvo T5 though obviously not on a Clio lol Not sure what the big deal is. It recommends what grade of fuel to use inside the filler cap. They dont tell you things like that for a laugh. There must be a proven reason

    I made 175lbft at RS Tunings RR'd with Piper Cams and the usual bolt on goodies. Looking around, this is about the same torque figure as folk pushing 230 bhp on TB's !! (i only made 186 bhp)

    Dont want to put a downer on all this but theres tonnes of induction kits to choose from already out there at various different price levels etc. Best kit is the Maxogen so say you decided to make a cheaper version, im guessing if it was similer looking you could be in breach of copyright regs...

    600+ for the head work. Cam price depends on the spec. You dont need verniers. RS Tuning mine made 186 bhp and 175lbft

    Im talking about bodykits and stuck on tat. On those 2 points however. ''Eibach'' and ''lower'' dosent usually appear in the same sentance and bolting a SS exhaust on isnt going to set the heather on fire. Think more on the lines of noise

    Sounds to me like you need new disks. Could be warped or the bearings failing hence the movement. There shouldnt be any play in the disk even if the caliper is fully off
