Sunflower yellow on the Ph1 172's was a 'normal' colour option not limited , not a extra cost option or anything special. The only special limited ph1 was the Exclusive which was something as little as a extra 300 quid

A total myth :mad: Look at the 200+ bhp up to big power Clio's on here. Their boxes havent been a issue. Reason why they get bad press is due to abuse and poor maintanence

Their easy to tune. Loads of kit out there and quite a bit of development going on. The issue is the expense of extracting the ponys but your going to get that on any N/A set up. Lower and rip the interior out.

Whip the centre console (sp?) out and see whats going on. Chances are the wires will be still hanging somewhere and if your lucky the connectors will be in tacked too. (saves soldering) Breakers for a new lighter, plug in job done.

Where the cat joins the centre section its held in place with a spring kit. To keep a seal but allow for movement in the exhaust set up theres a mesh ring that slots in a recess in the cat flange. If your mate knocks up a flat type flange, doubt you would get a good seal so could end up with...

Buy the decat. Their cheap enough. You'll end up with fitting hassle unless your very lucky plus you need to build in a recess for the spring / seal kit.

Neither do wheel ones. Its still only as good as the tester / set up

Thought the figures were all based on PS not BHP? EG, 172 PS, 182 PS ?? From reading up, average 172 seems to sit about 168 bhp and the 182's 175's
