T1Rs are more than enough on a 1.2. I had Kumho KH11s (different from the link you posted) on my 1.2 at one point and they were very good in the dry, just pants in the wet.
No chance you can compare your centre cap to someone with Renault turinis to see if the badge fits? If it does it's a simple case of spray the center cap, cut the clips off the badge and glue it on et voila.
Have the urge for some silver Turinis on my iceberg again :o
Ah. I was just about to post in this thread not to get wheels painted as it's nowhere near as durable as powdercoating. Seems like you've found out the hard way though. Take them to a good quality wheel specialist, it may cost you more but then you know this won't happen again.
I say it a lot...
It's hard trying to get a pic of the light difference unless you have a very good camera. Most point and shoot/phone cameras just balance out the blue until it's white.
Yeah make sure it's the full Cambelt kit and Aux belt kit that's changed, not just the belts. Though if you're going to one of the specialists off here they should see you right.
Yeah that's all normal, only the dipped beam is xenon. Not worth replacing the rest as no one ever sees the full beam apart from you and fog lights are useless anyway. Some white LED sidelights will get rid of the yellow from there, or just take them out all together.
Not true, that's a Dynamique S 138 above, different model.
My mum had a 1.4 Mk3 Dynamique S that didn't have leather or those wheels etc. Whack a pic up of your car Dan.
EDIT: This is what a Dynamique S should look like
Best way is the wheels, the wheels on Biohzrds old car are Dynamique S wheels, have a look at them. The normal Dynamiques have 15s. Some of the earlier ones (55/56 plate sort of area) had extra tinted rear windows and cornering lights as standard aswell.
Mick on here with the van on airbags (see thread in project section named "the daily") had to put the standard bumper back on to his van as the towbar didn't fit with the sport bumper. May be different with other makes of towbar however so might be worth finding out the model he has.
You know anyone else with V-Maxx who would let you borrow their C-Spanner? Stick it on the other collar and push in opposite directions with the two.
Only complaint I had with the V-Maxx was them only giving you one C-Spanner.
What is the obsession in N.I with that plate font? It looks sh*t on every car I've ever seen!
I'm undecided on the rest of it till more pics are put up.
Da did this to his old 1.2, try pm'ing him about this thread he might help you.
I disconnected the auto levellers on the 172 btw Martin, seems they can't understand when the car is lowered, if you parked it in front of a wall and watched the beam they were constantly adjusting up and down a few cm.
