I like the team dynamics wheels, and they'd look good in black - just don't go much on their centre caps. Flush fitting ones would look far smarter imo.
The honest answer - not a lot. You won't see any power gains, the car will fail an MOT test without it - so the cat will need re-fitting when it's tested. You may notice a change in the exhaust note, but I'm not promising.
I was shocked at how light you could actually go with 16x7 wheels - particularly if you go Jap - some were lighter than 5kg a wheel!! But at the end of they day I'm pretty sure that a wheel that light will simply just be destroyed on UK roads.
Really? It's not too easy to find wheel weights for Compomotives on the net. The only figure I did find was on an american site that quoted 19.6lb for 16x7. So that's about 8.9kg - the standard 182 wheels are 9.6kg and Speedline Turinis are 8.4kg. Not a huge difference over the Turini unless the...
I'm thinking of either Compomotive MO5's or MO6's for my new wheels. I was swaying towards the MO6's as I can get them in the right offset (ET45) and the same size. Unfortunately I then came accross this picture of a Clio on MO5's - which I thought looked pretty nice.
Looking at...
Right, everything from the rear of the car is now out and it wasn't long ago that I weighed it (with a full tank of fuel) to see just how fat it was. The scales used are specifically designed for lorries, not cars - so there is a 10kg +/- margin for error.
The results as the car left the...
Hope this helps from Michelin:
Michelin do, indeed, produce 3 products in the basic tyre size & tread pattern mentioned:
205/45 R 16 83V ‘New Pilot Exalto (PE2)’ (V=Max speed 149mph)
205/45 ZR 16...
Just finished taking all the unecessary parts out from the rear of the car, sounds a fair bit louder in there! Can anyone recommend a good place that could remove a few bits of unwanted metal and spray it nicely (Maidstone area)? Also anyone else who's done this - did you leave all the wires in...
Is the rear interior of a 182 cup worth anything at all? Or is it just fit for the bin? By rear interior, I mean the whole lot - seats, rear flooring, side pods, seat belts, bolts... Everything.
Cheers,
Forgetting about the fact that you'd be left with two exhaust cut outs in the rear bumper - would it be possible to use a 172 exhaust on a 182? What work would be involved? Just welding on new exhaust brackets?
The info. needs to be on the plates so the police can go back to the plate maker and get details of the purchaser should the car be used in any illegal activity.
Good info here:

Just ordered my 'illegal' plates.
Something like this from GDI wouldn't be a bad option:

AngelWorks will also probably offer something similar:

Yozzasport will probably do the same again! Speak to them all, see what they...
Cheers, it's my photoshop plan for the car, only difference will be the wheels will be anthracite, and I doubt very much that I'll fork out the required cash for AP's! Should be there or thereabouts within 6 months.
