Ok, options are:
Sparco - standard 6 point bolt in cage with door bars, E255 steel, unpainted (26kg) Tweeks part number 00723137 = £339.00 + VAT
OMP - 10 point bolt in cage with door bars, material Fe45 (32kg) Tweeks part number AB/105P/220 = £365.29 + VAT
Safety Devices - speak to Mark...
OMP do sell less OTT cages too. Have a look in the Demon Tweeks motorsport catalogue for options. Sure they do a 6 point bolt in. If you haven't got the catalogue, let me know and I'll take a look.
Safety Devices, but from what I've heard, you can't go direct. Think Mark Fish is the official supplier. But I also think SM_WRC on here had one and has changed to a different brand? Don't quote me on it, but if I'm right I'd like to know the reason!
Are they side mounts? There may be some adjustment possible if the side mounts allow it. Failing that, you may be able to buy different side mounts to raise them up to your needs, but check they match your seats!
Alternatively you could put aluminium box section below the current side mounts...
The SPG's are nice, but they are a very slim seat with minimal padding - they do offer a wider option though for more £££. I'm well pleased with mine, but you do pay a heavy premium for the name. For the best price I found check out www.sportseats4u.co.uk
There's always a way - it just depends how much you want to pay! I will be trying to keep the cruise control on the aftermarket wheel, just don't have time before the ring and I need to look at the connections into the standard wheel to see how it links up, can't see it being too difficult tbh.
They're Recaro SPG's, the cheapest place I could find them from was sportseats4u.co.uk, but Mark Fish got them ever so slightly cheaper for me, which was nice of him!
The harnesses were very expensive (around £160 each) - but they are so easy to adjust it justifies the cost (well, to me...
Compomotive MO6's, don't think the MO5's come in the right size if you're looking for 16x7.
MO5's, but think these are 17x7.5?
MO6's, pretty sure they're 7x16:
Like the Rota Slipstreams too, but they don't fit without spacers:
1. No. Buy larger injectors that deliver more fuel. Injectors are rated up to certain power outputs in laymens terms.
2. Higher compression, using forged pistons is the 'least mad' you could then go, but still very expensive unless you have the skills to fit them yourself. Then you're looking...
3rd paragraph down gives the list price savings for the comparable cars, but of course there were heavy discounts to be had on both cars anyway!

Whilst I agree that Renault did nothing for the 182 cup in terms of a sporty interior, they did throw in what really counts at a greatly reduced price - the cup packs.
All fair points, and I love the alcantara door trims, but I'd not had a problem with the cheaper cup items purely because I'd never so much as even sat in a FF until last month! The seats were never an issue as I had the Recaros speced when I bought it.
The thing about the 182 cups was that...
It was a couple of thousand pounds cheaper at the time and I wasn't really fussed about nice seats in the back or climate control or xenon headlights. I knew I was going to make some changes to it when the warrenty ran out to make it more focused for the track, and that involved removing most of...
