I didn't say it was better than any other RenaultSport! Though I wouldn't say that it's completely pointless either, after all it can move rubbish to the tip and take me to the shops. But there was a major benefit when it was new - the price!
I like all the RenaultSport cars, and without...
172 Cups are difficult to insure due to the lack of ABS. And you get cool as f*ck silver cup badges on the 182 cup - can't believe you'd need anymore reasons to have one!
Undertrays don't just stop crap getting to the engine - they can (and I'm not saying the Clio one is) be used to aid aerodynamics. Lots of modern cars have them now at the front and back to improve airflow under the car and prevent drag.

I'm no aerodynamics expert, but I...
True, but no-one said that you shouldn't re-map after fitting an induction kit, or exhaust, or any other engine modification for that matter. And that (if done correctly) would irradicate the potential of running lean.
Quoted as being good for over 30k miles? Aren't the standard fit NGK's first due to be changed at 76k miles? If that's the case, even the NGK's at stealer prices are not bad value!
I've also had Rota wheels on my car also 16x7. What ones are they? As far as I know most (if not all) Rota wheels are available in ET45 - unless you're buying second hand? I had a caliper clearance issue on the rear wheels only, easily sorted by small spacers.
The dunlop sportmaxx cup would probably be a good way to go, a few Clio's in there. Mark Fish would be able to point you in the right direction, I know he works on at least one car in the championship.
Mine's pretty loud (Orbisoud single silencer), but I wouldn't say it's the loudest - a guy posted a video of his longlife system the other day - now that was LOUD!
Might be worth making a heat shield to bolt where the fuel rail gaurd used to be? Stop the rising heat from the manifold? Can't imagine it would cost much if you used some custom stuff from demon tweaks or even lifting some heat shielding from the engine bay of a scrap yard car. Just an idea.
There's always going to be arguments about whether or not induction kits actually produce real gains or not. The fact of the matter is that getting air into the engine as efficiently as possible and expelling the spent gasses as efficiently as possible is the key to maximising engine efficiency...
I'm just trying to sort my proof of no claims bonus for my next insurer. My previous insurer was Adsa and they've been more than happy to provide me with a piece of paper stating 5 years no claims, which is fine.
However, I've been driving on my own insurance without a claim since I was 19, so...
