They'll probably book it as 2 hours? Just a guess tho.
Really easy to do this. Very suprised you got half way then packed it in :S
Bolts along the bottom, one to the side, pop the injector rail off job done.
Only problem area is the side one where you have to take the engine mount off...
Save your cash and wait for the Pmurray / AWT supercharger conversion.
Bolt on mods will give you a nice gain but is merely skirting round the edges compared to forced induction which is on another planet compared!
As Ali says, dont worry about the mileage and watch the cowboys, oh and use...
Alpine Stereo surround and some very annoying rattle that i think is the exhaust. Been under the car 3 times and cant find where the heck its coming from
and if you did the same mod on another car, different day different rollers chances are it would be a totally different gain.
Fair doo's if this is just a example figure but you know what forums are like. Folk will read Yozza Exhaust and Jamsport inlet getting 20bhp then rush out spending...

Getting any sort of power out of the F4R's is bloody hard work and very expensive.
This inlet matching isnt a new thing. Its been on the 172 / 182 scene for years!
Yes youve posted a result that shows you gained 20 brake just about but theres no way that figure is correct, not even anywhere near it!! You can hardly get 20 brake from cams and mapping let alone exhaust and...
Think youve got your answer.
Damaged one of the aux pulleys when tensioning, damaged pulley split the aux belt which snapped and took / skipped the cam belt and threw the timing out
Its the gearbox / clutch and the belts that are the big expense. Rear disks are also a fair whack.
Id be doing the belt straight away if i was you as you dont have any proof of it being done without the history. (based on age not mileage) so really you'd be talking 3.5k at the very least...
Worrying times.
Garage looks to be trying to get out of any responsibility and if you havent touched the car since the garage did the belt surely it has to be something they havent done right??
2nd opinion and advice from experts in the know is probably your best bet before you potentially...
