    Because the guy looks like he plans to market them and the sales pitch figure of 20 brake is unrealistic especially with no mapping. Getting any sort of power out of the F4R's is bloody hard work and very expensive.

    Think youve got your answer. Damaged one of the aux pulleys when tensioning, damaged pulley split the aux belt which snapped and took / skipped the cam belt and threw the timing out

    Its the gearbox / clutch and the belts that are the big expense. Rear disks are also a fair whack. Id be doing the belt straight away if i was you as you dont have any proof of it being done without the history. (based on age not mileage) so really you'd be talking 3.5k at the very least...
