Got some Snow Foam already - but using it via the Super Spray, hoping the foam lance will be a little bit better though!!!

^ Is that the Karcher you bought then? Didn't realise they had so many models!
Well I will have a look, otherwise I guess I will get it from AB as Mark was very helpfull when I spoke to him.
Is the AB significantly better to the Karcher one then do you know?
Yeah not disputing the logic of getting the best one, but is there nowhere to get one cheaper at all? Seems silly that the lance costs almost as much as the PW itself in my eyes...?
Hmm still not bad though, I don't want anything too powerfull anyway - only going to use it for cars and maybe spraying down the driveway.
You going to get a Foam Lance 2thumbs? As the heavy duty ones are all like £50 from what I have seen??! Which seems a lot of money for what it is.
Just saw...
Haha oh yeah thats their name! I remember watching it thinking the kids in it were really old too, but they were like maximum 16...it was classic though.
"PJ........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
HA no I know they were on BG, just couldn't remember what that scene was about. Ant and Dec don't look any older!
Do you remember when they had to share BG with the kids from the other club which were there mortal enemies?! Oh and that old fat lady who used to let pretty much anyone stay with...
Was going to get a Touch for Christmas but only want an MP3 player for the gym and walking to uni, so getting a new nano now, and will get a Touch in the future.
TBH though the capacity did put me off, my old iPod is 20GB and thats full without even any videos or photos on it, only music. Is a...
Ah fair play. How is the Dodo Wax you have working out? Quite tempted to get the Blue Velvet hard wax for dark coloured cars at some point, although that would kind of make the 476s redundant which will make me :( Also thought about the Marque D'Elegance...and Tim is doing that winter...
I used to just buy stuff on a whim, but now I tend to think I want a product to do X or Y and then find the best out there within my budget, doing this haven't ordered anything since September.
Having said that, when I do order it tends to be £50+
At the moment don't really need anything...
Think its a combo of SRP and EGP, so basically a one step fine polish with fillers and sealant. Don't think anyone says its bad, just works better doing SRP and EGP as separate steps.
Is the Prima good then? I always thought it was more a bodyshop type "pretty good for the price" type product? Just as its advertised in bodyshop trade magazines (which I read for work, not for fun I assure you!)
I found the Jet Seal left a very glossy and slick feel on the wheels over and...
Haha, how did you know about that Riz?!
Just a heads up, Jetseal is "special order" from Car Wash n Wax now I noticed. Not sure if anywhere else stocks it? That sample you sent me Riz worked very well on the wheels - I wanted to buy some for a top end sealant. Ah well, £20 saved maybe.
Yeah, basically trying to tell you stuf that isn't strictly true. If he thinks it is then he isn't the pro he thinks he is!
Almost as bad as that guy that told Pinky he was doing her a massive favour doing her car with his clay which cost £100!!!
Right, spoke to Mark @ Autobrite and was very helpfull. He says he might have an adaptor for the Halfords model but reckons I can get a cheap "A grade" Karcher from eBay which is basically a new product which has been returned for whatever reason and reboxed. I have had a look on there, but not...
Haha...I would if I could my friend!
Although been thinking, if I get a company car then there is no incentive for me to keep it looking good really, as they are changed every 3 months. What will I do with myself, might have to spend my money on a gf or something!! There is only so much...
A sealant is a must really if you drive the car a lot and is parked outside over winter, a wax will protect the finish but sealant adds to the durability. Road salt especially can be a b**ch to your finish. Make sure to do the wheels too though!
In this weather we could all use a little of Cusco Kid's all singing, all dancing, miracle spray wax with Teflon, which, according to him, means you NEVER HAVE TO WASH YOUR CAR AGAIN!!!
Wonder what happened to that guy...he added some much needed controversy to this forum!
This has been asked so many times now...but a quick answer:
Buy a decent lambswool washmitt
At least 2 buckets
A decent shampoo, I like the Chemical Guys Extreme Wash N Wax, but lots to choose from
Mild polish/ filler - Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Sealant - off the shelf Autoglym Extreme Gloss...
On a matte colour I would just go for durability and synthetic sealant like EGP or Jeffs AGT - wouldn't bother with a wax either I don't think, if I did would go for Collinite or just another durability type wax. No point spending money on a top end wax as there is no paint depth to bring out...
Think I prefer the Blitz the most, not sure if its as durable but just so easy and leaves a great finish, think it works with caranuba waxes better too. Although yet to try the Jeffs Caranuba.
