I would try and keep on top of a blackcar mate, otherwise takes a lot of work to get it back to its best. Get some decent protection on for the winter I would!
Hot tub of water with normal clothes powder, but no softener. Or else a wash in a machine at a medium temperature.
I have Chemical Guys Microfibre wash which really cleans them well and restores the softness, just mix it into the bowl instead of the clothes powder.
Got a couple of afters but not particularly good ones, just after a quick wipe down - will be getting a proper one over Christmas as looking at it during its MOT today it was a bit minging!
Sadly there seems some metal corrosion on the engine head I think it is, that simply won't come off...
Engine and machine cleaner, and failing that a solution with Fairy liquid in. Haven't used any acid for ages - but I agree there is a time and a need for it.
I just have nightmares of having to apply it to dirty black cars back from a test drive with red hot brakes in the heat of summer, and...
Collinites this time of year can be a b**ch. Not looking forward to a mid-winter detail over Christmas at all - the car is a bit of a state on the outside at the moment, its like an athlete that has had an injury and started playing video games and eating pizza. But, like Rocky, he will be back...
But then we might have sites in the states laughing at us in action like we all laughed at them!!
I think that you could do like a top 10 recommended products in categories pretty easilly, then a brief description, because I sure as hell get bored reading repost after repost on here, must be so...
Right, think I am getting the same PW as you now. Not quite as powerfull as the Halfords one but should be better build quality. Then just got to get the AB foam lance over Christmas - sorted!
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Think I have made the right choice.
Haha...Pinky I am afraid there is no ingredient called "detailer" lol.
The XXX is available online so no surprise. Not used that wax before but might contain some cleaners in it, but I would be tempted to SRP before hand so its nice and clean to bond to.
Yeah I guess its like anything you get quicker with it over time, that was just what I found when I tried it. Other than that its nice, just not £600 nice!
As a textaholic I found the iPhone just takes too long to type messages.
Just been looking at it again though, and it is very lovely. Maybe I am just trying to look for faults - I guess the camera and text inputs are the only downers, apart from that it is lovely.
Sounds god except wouldn't have bothered with the Glyde, you can make your own solution which will work just as well using some QD and/ or shampoo diluted with water. I used to use a spray bottle to apply it but nowadays put it in a bucket and use a mitt as you ensure 100% coverage but you...
Could have been me, I'm normally floating about there and have a small CS in the upper centre of my rear window...
I have seen a few 172 and 182s cruising around though, Russ from Gas Performance 182 is very nice.
I live near Jacksons in Hyde Park so give us a toot!
No, loyalty points now.
Still a good price though, considering you don't have to spend £50 on a transformer and more on a plug and a 110V extension...
Also, England are s**t at football, we really, really are.
Er...but most phones play music and have a camera and access the net...and for a lot cheaper and arguably better.
The iPhone is undoubtedly very nice, but objectively as a phone I don't think its all that - especially not for £600+
If you would be stupid enough to pay that for an iPhone then fair play. You could get a 16GB Touch plus a years contract and get an N95, or any phone, and still have a couple hundred left to play with.
Think people are getting a bit carried away with the handset really, as a phone its not...
I certainly don't have any - would be a case of making a Tom shape hole through the nearest wall I think and moving to Mexico...
If I did it full time I would though, probably get a special drivers insurance so I could drive other peoples cars too. Don't do it enough to warrant it TBH.
Sweet. Its quite small too, which is a good thing. Is it powerfull enough then, would have thought so?
The one I used to use at work was something ridiculous lik 400 bar - that was hella fun to use!
Hmm so £60 + AB foam lance...guess thats not too expensive, and will be worth it in the long...
