cheers for that m8 il have a close read in a bit.
just had another look at the Sub and the centre cone bit has come away from the outer casing so its ''blowing'' when the base comes in on a song.
Gonna have a crack at gluing it but failing that il have to bin it
The cone on my JL Audio sub makes a tapping noise. Ive had to turn the amp right down but then the things useless and still taps when the volume is cranked up.
If i push the cone in slightly when its tapping it stops it.
Can the cone be tightend up, glued etc or is it new sub time ??
I would but i cant find them.
Seriously m8 our talking poo. You can never have enough grip escecially when your doing a track day in your pride and joy.
I wouldnt waist your money.
Full phat de-cat or just save your pennys cos your not gonna notice a massive amount of difference over the stock cat with a half baked job like a sports cat
I bought the oil from you in the offer period
I heard about your last offer on another forum, went on your site, saw a £2 odd off reduction (bringing the price down to £45.59) and presumed that was the offer.
To buy oil direct from your website you have to join up anyway so i would be...
It could simply be a piece of grit thats lodged so try blasting with WD40 first.
Also check the TB spring as these become slack with age which stops the throttle body closing properly.
When it revs up, make sure the plastic disc that houses the TB cable is resting on the adjustable gromit...
When did a changing market become valid at the time of a advertised reduced price offer ??
Im just wondering seen as this lad got his for 39 notes that ive been charged the non offer price because i bought it online?
WTF!!!!! I just bought the same oil last week off their web site (during the advertised offer period on various forums) for £45.59, invoice to prove !!!!
whats the score here ???
Any tips on removing the rubber bung where the clutch cable goes into the bulkhead??
Does the bung go out at the engine side or the cockpit side ??
Ive disconnected the cable at both ends but i cant get the cable out through the cockpit.
Cheers
Bought a new clutch cable from my friendly local Renault dealer for my mk1 172. It looks totally different to the OE one currently on the car, at the gear box end.
Mine dosent have those gold weight things as in the picture.
Have i been given the wrong cable or have they changed the style...
link dosent work.
GMC (Saxo tuning and s/charging specialist) did a one off conversion on my mates CTR but it set him back s**t loads. Well over 300bhp tho
If you have the cash they'll do yours too im sure
Ive got one but my engines been worked on a lot so hard to tell of the actual gains just by fitting it alone.
lot of money but then its a lot of kit and the best kit out there on the market.
Second hand you'd get half your money back so its all swings and roundabouts.
Cheers :)
Its the handling that really improved when putting those Speedlines on.
They use the same offset's as the cup so it gives it a wider track than the standard 172 rims (38et vs the OE's 43et)
