Its a 51 plated 2002 so about 2 years old now. Had considered it but decided to keep a FRSH (for all it counts nowadays)

The 172s will spin up in third too, especially with the standard contis on .. funny but scary..

172, had it for yonks now.. not bored with it yet.. which is suprising seeing as I had never owned a car for more than 1 year before.

Well its a kinda result. The gearbox was replaced on my 172 after about 1000 miles, so its not uncommon.

17s are just the perfect size for the clio.. but will kill acceleration a bit.

Yep, I certainly wouldnt touch a car that dont have a vin plate (or sticker in the clios case)

Nice clean install there..

The newer clios dont have vin plates though do they ? they have a oval sticker on the b piller drivers side.

It should be mandatory for people to record sounds of the car driving and idle.. ;) especially when claiming it sounds sh*t hot :D

My first run up a strip ever I did 15.4 on completly standard 172, nothing ripped out. But I reckon I could get that down to 15.0 with a better launch etc.

Thanks for that Dan, I wouldnt expect a big difference, if you could sorta notice some difference then that is good. The only real way to tell would be RR or 1/4 mile it. The sport cat is deffinatly an option for me then..
