    ahh cool, yeah will pm him to see what he reckons I think they had it at 260, then took it up to 300 where it then bent a rod basically the cams dont work well with boost so need to be swapped for standard ones but as there was a standard engine for sale at the time figured it would be easier...

    Although its difficult to see when viewing the car ph1's tend to rust in the rear inner arches, both mine and my brothers have started and i think quite a few on the forum have as well. 140k is pretty high millage but if its been looked after no reason why it wouldn't last, they take the millage...

    yeah im sure there is one in the guides section somewhere, Ive ditched the air bag as the plugs were different but im sure there would be a way of keeping an airbag, just the lock buttons and hazard switches need moving to the top the rest is straight fit and i think the clocks need screwing...

    Yeah I think they are the same seat actually. Got them fitted much better now on VDL subframes and omp harnesses

    Had a go with a mates dslr today at the btcc media day and managed to get a photo i quite liked I have no idea if its edited at all as he sent me it as a jpeg but ive defiantly got the bug now, just need to save for a camera..

    Yeah I've tried that, it's already on the lowest setting at the rear and the front is better on the higher setting as it tilts the seat back, still too high even with the front and back on the lowest bolt though

    Yeah I've had a play with the different heights on the sidemounts but like you said it sits too high with the standard rails, I'll have to keep a look out for new subframes

    Voltage reads 17v when running so lucky I've stopped driving it as soon as the problems occurred, guessing this means new alternator?
