Do you live in Flitwick or near Bedford? The cars got a low boost and high boost map so your welcome to come out in it to see how the two compare.. But yeah low boost doesn't really feel the same after haha
Its a clio turbo stage 2 so basically meg internals and a garrett gt2560r turbo. Running 280bhp.. The maps quite tame apart from the limiter which I'm guessing is ignition cut going by the flames lol

Dependings what sort of power you want from it, you can get around 230bhp on standard compression and an efi module so a standalone ecu isn't required. Better off with an off the shelf log manifold and downpipe imo as the 225 manifold puts the turbo and downpipe very close to the master cylinder.

Seems getting a decent Renault Sport specialist for high cost conversions (turbo, itb) is pot luck no wonder turbo conversions are considered too unreliable

I wouldn't even say low boost really affects the reliability engine much tbh.. Doesn't put the rods or pistons under any strain they can't handle..engine dynamics have done a car that was on 140k and its still going strong after 15k of hard use. With low boost you can just chuck another engine...

My car came with gaz coilovers and I swapped them out for the set of bilstiens off my old car .. Bilstiens are much better for the road.. Don't go as low as the gaz and the damping isn't adjustable but for the road it doesn't need to be.

So the exhaust is now fitted, much quieter and drives much nicer now that the down pipe has all 5 bolts holding it onto the turbo, not sure how it was noticeably blowing but I could wiggle it with my hand!

Bit the bullet and ordered the pure motorsport exhaust. The quality is unreal, well worth the premium over a ktec/similar system I'd say.
