my old 1.4 did this, mates 1.4, my 1.8 16v, all my 2l, adis 2l, mates 2l. All you need is a full exhaust, an accelarator cable with no slack, and do exactly as Glenn said, cane it in gear, then on overrun, tap the accelerator!

LOL, im expecting to to be honest, renos chocolate boxes are sh*te! Maritin, leather will be kept in for shows and everyday use, but will just strip out the usual for strip/track action, on the road i doubt it will make a massive difference, with over 200bhp traction is gonna be my main problem.

Danny it should be ready to run already as its spending most of Friady on the rollers on will have a power run on Saturday. Should be ready for Saturday but hitting a few problems in terms of fitting longer trumpets which is what i want, but time/space is running out!

bit odd that mate TBH, a chipped willy usually revs to 7200-7500 depending on chip. Arre you sure its the 2l and not the 1.8? Does it make good low end power?

TBH handling is not as much of a strength as outright straight line power, through twisties i doubt there would be an awful lot in it, in a straight line the valver is considerably slower.

;) the valver and willy engines are EXACTLY the same fromt eh exterior bar smaller starter motor (which rumour has, some clios came with the smaller motor) The manifolds are different, but unless they take the engine to bits to measure crank throw and bore size they will not be able to tell...

Martin, maran racing seem to have vanished, BenR is doing the conversion at AWT. Spec will be as follows; Williams bottom end, megane head with AWT headwork, 280 cams, AWT throttle body kit (based around Jenvey gear), OMEX ecu. BenR will know a little better then me, but he is hoping for...

Just to keep all updated on my project, got my Williams wheels today, they weill be sent to Pro Clean to have them sprayed white with a silver lip. Megane head is on its way to BenR at the moment and teh car is being dropped off at GDI HQ on friday for Ben to wave his AngelWorks wand at it...
