I have had my rt for a few years now, and I was getting concerned lately that the fuel light might be faulty. The warning light has not been on in over 2 years. So the other week I decided to see when it would. The tank was reading empty so I decided it wasnt working and I went to get some...
Mr JC loved the V6. Said it was the only car to hold together during there track tests, he said they usually have problems with the cars they test, but the V6 they didnt.

A calibra with e green induction kit. Now thats not all that impressive in itself.
BUT
The darn thing was hanging out of the fog light hole. Seen it twice now and its been there both times. So I assume its meant to be. Looks stupid but I bet it gets a good dose of cold air.

Its not the power steering. Well it could be, but I doubt it. I dont have power steering and mine does it. Its probably just your auto-choke playing with the fuel pressure. Just watch the rev needle, it does move slightly.

Are they ECO seats? Cos I have just litterally (last friday) fitted some to my car but all in black instead of red. Looks mint and they dont half hold you in place. Cheap aswell, half the price of an identical Corberouaidjdjdo (or however you spell it) seat.
I built my frames myself from...
Erm mate I think I might have removed my exhaust and covered up some of the surrounding paintowork. I do a fair bit of grinding...as in the cutting of metal...not what you pervs are thinking ;) When I first started I managed to ruin a window (leaving small bits of very hot metal burnt into the...
Do you mean the bolt or the nut? The bolt is the thing that looks like a screw at is actually attatched to the seat and the nut is the bit under the car which holds the bolt down.
I am actually playing with all this at the moment as I have took my factorys seats out and am putting bucket seats...
You know where the bowling alley is? Go down there, look for the place that sells lamps and lights on the left hand side (just after the bowling alley) if your comming from the currys/comet (or whatever it is) end and there is a garage just over from that lighting place. Or they used to be. A...
Hey mate if your going to contact K-Tec will you tell me how much they are wanting to fit the suspension please. I am going to be getting a suspension kit for my little RT and I dont have the spring hold it tight or it might take your face off tool.
Paul
Yes I understand, but going down a pothole will do it wont it?
You have odviosly never been to Worksop or surrounding areas. The words disrepair dont even come close to the condition of most of the roads.

Had a little tiff with a Rover 25 last night. No idea on the engine size. He was being a slow dick in front of me, so as soon as we got to the round about I thought I would get in the outside lane and over take him on or after the round about. So I am comming up the outside lane ready to go...
Jesus! Its one frigging spring for gods sake, how much do they want to charge?!
Then again, it is a 172.
Maybe look into getting some lower suspension if one is broke...good excuse.
Also what do places like K-tec and BB tuning etc charge for fitting suspension kits? Maybe a good idea to...
Funnily (or not) I went to get my tracking checked the other week because the steering wheel was wobbling about all over the place. Had it tracked up and he said it was way out. Now I know your tracking can be knocked out again virtually as soon as you leave the tracking place. But my car seemed...
Trading standards wont do much to scare renault. Go to watchdog or something. I am sure there is enough on this forum to bugger up Renault for a long time to come.
Paul
I want one. One with a flip out screen that comes from the stereo, one that has stereo controls on it...oh and is touch screen. Probably dont even exist outside optional extras for big exec cars.
Paul
Not the best idea GirlRacer. Who would be the first to be suspected? Best off to leave it to the police. If they fail, then sound round the stick men.
Glad you found the bloke, a long shot that paid off, well done.
Paul
So what your saying nick is that it will be ok to mount one on my subframe? Where is yours on the subframe? I am making my own so I am thinking of the best place.
Paul
Thing is, I am making my own subframes. So I can put it anywhere I like. I was thinking about putting it directly onto one of the points where the seat bolts to the car. That should be safe shouldnt it?
Paul
Wow that looks awesome! It looks like it should be there. I am well impressed. But I must say, I am not to happy about the crotch shot in the 3rd pic! ;)
Paul
Cheers. I have taken out the rear seats (forever) and know where to attatch the rear belt to and the one towards the door. But as I am taking out the frames for my seats and putting my diy jobs in I no longer have a belt buckle thing as its on the frame. So I was wondering what to put it onto...
If you do, can you tell me if you have 3 point harness where you put the harness points?
Also the main point, has anyone got any pics, or knows where I can find information, on subframes for bucket seats. Universal or tailor made.
Cheers
Paul
I think they can. Its a loop hole in the law at the moment...well according to that bloke who was telling us clios where going missing up in scotland. If not, I am sure the police can. Just tell them the situation and give them the number you have. Then let them look through and see if they can...
When I had a knock (into a land rovers towbar) i had a pretty bad dent in the bonnet. Contacted all the dent specialists (or is it dint) in the Yellow pages and they said they couldnt do it because the bonnet is double skinned at that point. So I went to renault. They quated about £260. Went to...
