Also you have to remember if they are deceaving you on that, what else may they be decieving you on. I wouldnt have done the deal.
Personally I would wait a few months for the new V6 to start hitting the roads. It will either push up the price of the old v6s (because people will have to wait...
That aint photoshop. Or if it is, its would have taken weeks to get it that good. Look at all the reflections, and they apear to be acurate reflections.

I know its slightly off topic.
My girl friend ownes a Skoda Favorit, bless her little cotten socks. Anyway her fanbelt is a bit duff and needs replaceing. Now I have never had to replace one of these but you hear people using old tights for temporary fixes, so I thought it shouldnt be that...
There may not be that many people on here with GTTs but there are a growing number of people with clios with GTT engines in them. Maybe not completely what your after, but it could be something worth considering.

The amount of water you would get through it would be neglable. ie the amount of water will not cause a problem on your engine. Its only water when all said and done, and its not really near anything electrical.
Paul
When BB turbo the 16v they virtually rebuild the entire engine anyway, because they have to upgrade a lot of stuff to take all the extra stress. So 105k doesnt really matter if its going to be rebuilt. As long as the body is in good condition then the engine wont be a problem if you go that...
I wouldnt say painless. I scuffed my knuckles twice with the bolts near the sill and nearly burnt my hand on the exhaust. But apart from that yes. You will need a set of star alan keys or screw drivers for the ones under the seat near the sill. Also be carefull under the car if your un-doing the...
The wires only really come together when they join at the amp. Its a very simple setup and is using the same cabling that was proffesionally fitted (I didnt know enough when i got my car) when i got my sub and amp. But then again if it was wrong that kind of noise wouldnt be noticble on a sub...
Well I dont think the bag snatchers had factored me into the equasion. I got the reg and gave a very good description of the car. Cos I had a clio I instinctivly knew it was clio at a glance and could focus on more distinct things about it. Also it didnt help they drove right under a security...
Its attatched onto my home made seat frame. I was thinking it might be that, but I couldnt understand why. But the amp is also attatched to the same seat frame, but at a different part.
Paul
Thats the good name of the clio, not cliosport.
I was at work the other day when a thief snatched a womans hand bag and drove off in a red clio! The b*****d!

I have noticed everytime I switch off my ignition, if the stereo is still playing i get a pop and crackle out of the amped speakers (but not the un amped ones). Not really a problem, but the thing that is annoying is that I get a whining noise thats in tune with my engine. If I rev it whirs...
Is it? is it a bloke? I am thinking.....WITCH HUNT! GRAB YOUR POINTY STICKS MEN!
Only joking, welcome anyway, even though I have seen you around for a bit before I noticed you wrote this message. But thats covert ops rule 101, check out the lay of the land before proceeding into a possible...
I am not a mechanic.
Arent you the chap who was having his car MOTd and this is what they where failing you on? If so ask the mechanics there what they think is wrong with it. Just tell them that its all under warrenty but you dont trust the company its under warrenty with to be as clever as...
Is water vapour or small drops of water bad for your car or induction kit if they are getting sucked into it? I know the filter is there to stop crap, but eventually water might get through. How bad is it?
And
Is wet air better than dry air? ie dry air tends to be hotter.
I was just...
It might just be me, but that does sound rather dull. I mean is that all you do? Measure each others volume? Its like a groupe of people getting together and seing who is the tallest then giving them a trophey for it.
But each to his/her own I suppose.

I was thinking yesterday. If you have a turbo car, do you need a radiator aswell? It just crossed my mind because I would have thought the perfect place for an intercooler is exactly where the radiator is. This is mainly pointed at nick because his wasnt a turbo car to start with.
Paul
Ok if he comes back, simply lean out of an upstairs window and shout at the top of your voice (and maybe have a camera pointing at him)
"I am sorry, but the hair loss clinic isnt open until tommorow"
or if he has hair
"I am sorry but the illegal sexual practices counceling sessions dont...
The weather perhaps? Its just started getting hotter and you have just started getting slower. Probably that. Remember hotter air is less dense and thus has less oxygen to put into the mix and thus less power.
Paul
I was going to say: "just because you dont have one Nick"...but you probably do dont you.
Does a turbo car actually have to have a intercooler? I was always under the impression it didnt, but its extremely benificial to have one.

No speeded up film in 1976. Might I bring your attention to Knight Rider and Airwolf to name just two. Ok a few years later but the technology for doing it is hardly rocket science...oh and they already had had rocket science for a few decades by then.
But I must say it looked slow, low camera...
