what a boring selection! VAG have their 160bhp 1.9TDI in an ibiza for christ sake and the clio gets 106bhp from a 1.5DCI i know which id pick!!! and 1 extra bhp out of the 1.6! great :boring: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz needless to say i wont be getting a new clio

ur engine will be flooded with air lol wont make the slightest bit of difference as long as its all sealed and fitted properly

Well afaik pros: make it run better, gain a lil bit of power cons: costs a fair amount, wont gain as much per £ as bigger engined cars at a guess.... i dont really know tbh lol

yeah i read the thread on here about the heat sheild rattle and thought it might be that sounds a bit like my exhaust has a hole in it - and yet it doesnt....... i will have to investigate further this evening

ok i took the back seats out the other day (to transport a washing machine) and havent put the seats back in yet on the way into work this morning there is a craaaazy rattle coming from the back/boot area! its caused by the exhaust (it isnt the exhaust) vibrating but cant for the life of me...

did you try please? :p

mine is the same has been for about 10 months now since fitting it wont come off as long as its screwed on a bit - they tighten with use....

worth doing on a 1.6?

they arent hard to fit.... why dont you fit them and take it to them to set it up? even with VERY basic knowledge & a little help from the guide on here (dunno where it is now) i managed to fit mine

benR is probably the man to talk to i would of thought it would be alright tho

no aware of anything specific rattles can be an issue but not a lot u can do about that just take it out for a drive press all the buttons to make sure everything works and if it seems solid enough and runs alright then not a lot more u can do (hpi check of course)

i cut mine off couldnt see any way of getting around it

you could have a go at fitting urself? then get tracking checked......... incidently i think i parked up next to ur car at the weekend at the hotel? sunglasses on the dash parked across 2 spaces?

the only problems ive had with 2 ktec exhausts is that they have been fitted by me :D other than that theyve been pretty good although i must agree the welds are a little messy on mine

if you wanna go down the tuning N/A route give BenR a shout! he seems to think the 1.6 16v engine is quite good for tuning and if ur willing to put in the cash it would give worthwile gains i have no idea about turbo conversions however it would be very expensive though as most of it would...
