look on k-tecracing.com. Says upto 80mm. Another reason i didnt go as low on the front is that the standard set up looks higher at the front so i thought id try to keep it about the same differene front to rear as OE.
Unless youre mad like Fred i think youd be retarded (or made of money) to...
oops yeah your right about fred. Front is set at 70mm because otherwise ill be shovelling snow! I have full lock. Mine are 195/16s.
Id recommend the FKs (if they fit) as i dont think any people on here have experience of the other kits to help you out, and i know the FK kit is good!
So yeah...
Depending on wheel offset you can pretty much go as low as you want!
Im safe at -80mm with ET38.5, Fred is -110mm on ET37.
Camber will go negative anyway as you lower, either set it back to OE or go 1 negative.

I was a plum and left my wipers on intermittent when i turned my car off last night, this morning when i started up my rear wiper tried to do its thing and its completely buggered! Then i flicked the stalk up to turn the wipers off but forgot to turn it for the rear wiper and it did it again...
No, the standard ET must be around 43 as the wheels dont stick out morer than a 172, and definetly not more than a cup at ET38.5. I think ET37 must be the limit if you lower a lot as i have just enough clearance on mine with ET38.5.
Aftermarket wheel specialists recommend ET35 (like team...
When i went to the bodyshop the guy wanted to blend the surrounding panels as he wouldnt be able to get an exact paint match. Anyway, get it done by a pro as the plastic needs decent prep or the paint will fade/peel. Like Toms!

Yup, problem is its not as low as freds if you look at the arches but i reckon its as close to the ground as he has 17s..so i have to raise it otherwise exhaust smacks speedbumps!
The FKs are great though if you need recommendations!

I find it somewhat ironic that 172 owners are jumping to say that the 172 shouldnt be compared with the before mentioned cars yet if you have a peek in driving tales what do you see..!!
I agree with whoever said the Clio needed 200bhp, it did, purely to make it king. Yeah it would of competed...
I like those wheels but not polished, but the split rim look suits euro cars imo. Spoilers a bit in your face for my liking but looks smart overall!

I realise its simple, but id still be stuck at finding a piece of pipe, cutting it and then attaching it somehow..
Yeah the manifold is already sorted mate, just want the rest of it done so it looks, erm, pretty! A few bhp wouldnt go amiss either.
-Rob
Well coilovers and 4pots are sorted so back to the engine!
Has anyone got a de-cat for the 1.2? Also has anyone got a downpipe sorted? Mild steel sucks ass!
-Rob
Yeah 60mm is frankly a bit 4x4 but it makes the most sense in the real world. Anyway, as i keep saying OE dampers are not up to the task of the original springs so whoever says their fine knows sweet FA! (imo)
