The current 318 has the old 320s 140bhp 2.0. The 320 now has a 2.2 170bhp motor (debuted in the godawful Z3).

Yeah, 16vs are mega loud on full throttle. Most people with a 16v I know that have been pulled over have been pulled over after a traffic cop heard them booting it from about ten miles away!:o

With all respect to the RSi as per previous post, your RSi will not have a real VTS off the lights. Even a 16v and Williams have trouble! (See recent Craggy videos). Maybe it was a badged up VTR? - very common.

VTS - a well under-rated hot hatch. TT - quick in a straight line, but compromoised by its VW Golf 4Motion underpinnings.
