Yeah the ballast doesn't affect the main beam at all. My next guess would be a knackered bulb connector. Clutching at straws here, would be so much easier if you were closer ;)

Right well, the H&R's I had I never fitted so can't comment there. The K-Tec arrived yesterday so haven't fitted them yet. I don't have the V-Maxx rears yet but they're en-route as we speak. I need to get the fronts set up properly to comment but I'm not doing that till I get the rears...

I think yours is damp in the carpet Carl from possibly a previous leak. Have you tried the AirCon cleaner, they're only about £12 from Halfords and I have one infront of me now :)

Lol, I'm being the guinea pig for V-Maxx Luke, these are the first set produced :) Will be a good comparison though once the KTR set arrives! Yeah lots of roads flooded over my way today - not good :(
