Strange, I did mine the other day...turned key in the ignition twice, got out and armed it and the alarm beeped twice to confirm sensors were off. Stuck my arm in thru the open window to check! ;)
Is it an OE alarm?
Yeah it's two for interior sensors, three for bonnet sensor...etc...
Alarm beeps when armed to confirm which part is disabled.
Not sure if you can disable everythig?
Coloured dots are QC checks that Renault do when the car is built!
Yellow writing is usually a breakers identifier as to what the parts are and what car they are for.
1.2 16v and 1.2 8v use the same springs mate, ONLY means 1.2's ONLY ;)
You'd be surprised at how many components are shared between the 8v and 16v models.
They could code a new key to your immobiliser/alarm etc, but the locks would all need changing as the blade wouldn't be available to copy.
Circa £500+ for a full lock set, fitted. Plus keys, coding etc it simply is not worth only having one key!!
Cheers, I get ya now :)
There's no wind noise and I've had the scuttle off myself and all looks perfect, just this annoying little squeak from the wiper stalk! :(
Cheers Lee, that's what I thought.
It's just that since I had my new screen fitted two weeks ago I've aquired an annoying intermittent squeak from one of the wiper stalks!
