A 'manual' is guidance by it's very nature mate. As edde says it's the spec that governs what we can/cannot use.

The oil will not be an issue in the slightest. 10w40 is quite the norm from a dealer! :dapprove: As for the tyres, that's about right from Renault but they can be had for less than £100 a corner elsewhere. Do a search it's been coverd hundreds of times mate.

Fans are now electric, no need for a belt to drive them.

Serv and Airbag light wont go off no, this is an issue that can be fixed one of two ways... Either buy a new airbag computer, at considerable cost (£1000 all in seems to spring to mind), or... There is apparently a service offered on ebay Germany that will reset your current airbag...

Not really no if you're confident. Have a look for Fubar's guide with regards the dash removal, then changing the lamps is pretty straight forward.

It is indeed a dash top off job. 1w wedge filament lamps, there's 2 or 3 I forget exactly.

The contacts corrode and fail, you need this mate.

The 05's+ have Update list stereos and a revised head up display loom.
