The RS front end is about 2 inches wider in total so the bumper overhangs the wings an inch on either side. The gap you are referring to is when the bumper is made to fit the non-sport wings, distorting it. Have a look at dutty_112's posts and possibly R8 FTW as they both had non-RS wings on...

Allegedly, as Mark has said, bob it in the oven on a low temp and it will soften the sealant enough for you to separate the lens from the casing. **no responsibilty accepted for melted headlights though!** :rasp:

Digging around I am now 99% certain that ph1 172's didn't come with a CD headunit, they had tape players fitted as standard. Sounds like yours has been upgraded so the code will never work if it's the one in your handbook from Renault.

The loom up front is standard I believe, the rear speakers if not fitted will not have the second part of the loom added as I understand it. Oh and the grilles under the windows by the parcel shelf are air vents, not speaker mounts!

It's the strut mounting bolts, that secure it to the hub. On Cup's or Cup-packed cars it is 60mm centre to centre of the two bolts.
