Thanks, although the resistors I'm looking at aren't grouped according to rating or colourcode. They're listed as voltages, as in 12v 5v 9v etc...
I need 5v equipment to work on a 12v system so do I buy 5v resistors or 12v ones? :S
I'm looking to buy some LED's and obviously they need to be 12v to work in the cars electrical system.
Anyway the ones I want are listed as 5v so obviously there's resistors I can buy to overcome this but I'm struggling to get my head round it! :o
Do I need to buy a 12v resistor to limit the...
Clio*Nick, you're fronting the policy, I bet if you were the main driver and put your mum on as named it would be cheaper.
Insurance companies aren't stupid ya know ;)
:S you changed the front bearing?
The rear bearing could have gone, quick way to check is jack the car up and give the wheel a waggle to see if there's any play in it. Not very technical I know.
I had rear bearings go on my 1.2 and the humming was predominantly from the rear. It increased...
I have never seen a wiring diagram posted on here, I believe Renault are very secretive about them.
As stated above though, so long as the 'modifications' aren't part of the issue then the fault will be covered under Renault warranty. If you start disassembling the loom to fix it yourself...
Yes I appreciate you bought it second hand but is it not still under the three year manufacturers warranty as supplied from Renault? What age is the car?
Where are you in the UK?
Well the transponder ring is around the ignition barrel, it picks up the signal from the key.
As for diagrams I can't help you there sorry, I've never even seen one :rasp:
Extend the hose with the insert from a biro pen ( :o ) and a small piece of tubing from say a fish tank or similar! :)
The correct tubing in length can be bought from any decent motor factors.
Just before i log off and go to sleep... ;)
Options on the 182 included Cup suspension and splitter packs. The suspension pack lowered the car a few mm made the dampers, springs and shocks a bit harder also the wheels come in a darker colour. Included in the Cup suspension pack was different...
It is, the 182 has a wider track than the 172. This is down to a combination of suspension components though.
Cannot really comment on the Trophy as I've no real knowledge there.
Ah I see. The 172's are the same hubs as far as I know.
The 182's have a couple of variations but I believe the track is unchanged throughout.
As for the Trophy's, this is a 182 limited edition but again I believe it has the same track as a 182 be it Cup or standard. The Trophy does...
