sounds like you have connected the leds across the 2 positives in the cigarette lighter so without the lights on the lighter isnt lit so the low power leds use that as a negative then once it is lit with the lights on they are both positive so the leds go off

can you not just reinstall an iso plug connector? have you got a photo of what's wrong?

you'll cure most of your light dip with upgrading the earth from the chassis to the neg on the battery and the optima is worth every penny if you ask me

none of your links work. i don't think the stalk uses a stereo connection. the head unit should come with a lead that is alpine head unit on one end and iso plug on the other
