according to the alpine site to run it bridged into 2 channels you need the switch on 3/4
and some "Y" rca adapters to input right into 1&2 and left into 3&4
the hpf shouldnt affect the the sub out rcas:confused: but it will the front and rear rcas aswell as the speaker outputs from the hu.
sun reverse just inverts the phase on the sub output.
smt = surface mount technology
here is an idea of the size

yeah once the dash is off getting the dials out is easy, the hardest part was getting the needles off. you need a torx T10 driver to take them apart
i cant find the manual on the alpine website.
you wont do any harm just connecting it up and moving the switch to find out how the fade is (only alter settings with the power off)
ah well i might have got the amounts wrong for the fuel and temp for the 05 model.
what colour are the needles on your speedo, rev counter?. i had to get some white ones instead of the orange ones

yeah they are all the same leds. (2x speedo&rev 1x temp&fuel and 4xdisplay so you need 10 altogether)
white white ones on the lcd display give you better contrast than blue ones would

i have still got a few white ones left over if you was thinking of going blue these would be ideal for the little lcd display

i think black cat is a very clued up electronics engineer(sp).
also the point about .5v interfeience(sp) is great because it is likly to be induced on both the positive and the ground at the same time thus causing no difference in p.d
yes i quiet agree batcaps do work.
i was a bit blunt when answering sorry but i dont like people misinforming others.
