Having owned my cup for the last 6 years, it was time to let it go, and yeahhhhh did i make the best choice, the clio cup sucks compared to the 197's.

no 4th plug popped loose. can i get a small magnetic tool to remove any stuff inside the cylinder ?
or what if i shoved down loads of air from my air compressor, could i blow the dirt up and out from the cylinder

he probably was just waiting to find a replacement engine from the scrappers yard, or ebay, did you get the engine numbers to check you got the same one back
yeah dude, you can buy the bits seperately, but you have to have the barings pushed into the discs !! so if you were to buy the discs from motorplace, you need to buy barings as well, then have some garage push them in,
i'd take the hub back to the garage and see if they have the old bearing, to compare it, pribably have to buy another bearing now as they probably won't be able to pull it out without breaking it
maybe the guy thought your car was a mk1, as it would probably fit an old clio mk1. didnt' you ask for a photo before your brought it, i saw some chap on ebay trying to sell some weird OMP exhaust claiming it was for a 172 but it didn't even have the bend to go over the rear axel and he was...
yeah plus that ted guy had to pay to send them the broken disks, btw they look they have done more that 7.5k miles, or you have had soem really crummy pads fitted fromt eh looks of the scratches over them disc's, i have never had discs that are all scratched up and worn oddly like that and why...
don't bother buyign the parts off ebay like bloke said above, the parts are cheaper from renault, some 172 wings on ebay went for like £70+ each, when they are only £50 from renault !!
look in the log book, to see what it says about the dash, is should be simple to run some speaker wire fom the switch to the bulb at the back, as a temporary fix. then call vosa and complain that they failed it on that, then they will come and re-inspect the car free of charge, and if you fix...
