Yeah it's kerbed pretty badly. The other alloys are in mint condition - you wouldn't think they've ever been used.
Surely because they are in mint condition the colour difference will not be that noticeable?
I need one of my 182 cup alloys refurbing.
Called a couple of places and they either won't touch it or reckon I need to have two done, incase there is a variation in colour.
The other alloys are pretty much brand new.
Do I really need to waste money getting a second wheel resprayed...

I've got some lowering springs at home which I wouldn't mind having a go at fitting myself. Basically I cba to pay £100 for a garage to fit them.
I have very limited mechanical experience but do have the tools to do the job.
Would I be able to fit them on my own?
Are they difficult to do?
I snapped up some lowering springs for the 172 last night. Guy didn't know what they were as they came on the car. All he could say is they didn't rub with 17's on and they made the car look really smart.
The springs are yellow, which instantly made me think apex.

I love these. My mate has a black 2001 one. Really classy cars. If I didn't drive 60 miles to work everyday I would have one in a flash.

Surely 194bhp from a 2.0l naturally aspirated engine is nearing the limit? I can't think of many N/A 2.0l running over 200bhp.
It wouldnt suprise me if they went for a turbo lump next time. Maybe a 1.6 or something.

Bit of a silly question but technically I am not sure what the differences between the 182 and 197 are.
I've resorted to this. I just refuse to pay that much a litre. My mpg has actually increased now i'm using 95ron lol.

My mate has a remapped VRS running at 177bhp and my 172 leaves it for dead side by side.
He can keep up with me if he slip streams but a side by side race is not even a contest.
They weigh over 1300 kg!
