Looks like they fell for it hook line and sinker.:
"Countless widgets claiming to save fuel have come and gone through the tears, but heres one that really works. Based on Formula One technology,...improvement of up to 15% in fuel...
Interesting article in todays Times. In the Driving supplement on page 5 there is a bit on the methods that the test drivers use to obtain some of those 0-60 times.

Just got back from a couple months on the other side of the big pond and my Willy is running a bit rough. The plastic cover on the valve cover over the ignition wires has chafed completely through the insulation on one wire and gotten a good way into the others.
Any recommendations on wires...

Whenever I try to get any information on Renault Sport bits, all I get are sites about the different racing series. Ive not seen a link from any of them for parts. I went to my local Reanult dealer and even the guy that speaks English didnt have any information. There must be a catalogue or...

Both the water temp light and the oil light came on at the same time and stayed on despite plenty of oil in the sump and plenty of water in the rad. They stayed on for a short trip of a few miles, and then went off after I checked the car out after getting home. Is this a precursor of...

How to release the piston to get it to retract? Is there some sort of gizmo related to the emergengy brake that keeps the piston from retracting? I seem to remember similar things in other cars but Ive never seen anything like this. It could be the same in the Peugeot 205 GTis as they take...

Those of you out there who are buying new and expect to trade in or seel your car in the forseeable future might think twice before doing any irreversible mods.
I know the temptation to make your car look that bit different from the others out there and personlise it a bit but just remember...

My Willy has been popping out of gear on landing after a jump or sometimes entering Karussel whilst lapping the ring. It happens both in third and fourth and can be a bit disconcerting at times. Are there stronger gear selector detents available for motorsport use? Has anybody else experienced...
Looking to replace all the rubbery bits on my Willy. Would like to stiffen it up a bit. Who makes the best bushes and where do I get them?
Anybody here with race/rally experience with a Willy?

I would like to know if there is a quick and easy fix for the rev limiter. Would like to raise it a few hundred or so maybe even to 7000. Is this a wise move? Do I need a new ECU or a chip?
There are a couple of places at the ring where a shift up is just that little bit awkward and being...
The bird just got back with Willy and the hazards have a mind of their own. She says they started flashing when she braked. Now they want to flash when the car is shut off as well. The clicking noise is all the way to the letft in a LHD car as opposed to near the switch like when the hazards...

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I think it is about time to replace the motor mounts and various bushings. Im thinking of upgrading to motorsport bits but havent a clue where to start...
It is really a bit disconcerting to own Willy I # 3369 and be told that there are only 2500 built. Then somebody else says that therewere 300 or 400 for the UK market, either included in, or in addition to, the original 2500 figure. Then another person says that there were 2 for Cyprus and...
