    Sorry to hear your troubles mate. Very kind offer from Chip though! Tbh I wouldn't have a turbo conversion as a daily driver for this reason. As mentioned, a cheap run about would see your stress levels fall dramatically! One way valve can be had off any turbo car such as R5 etc. mine is off a 5.

    Never really looked into tbh but I would think steering rack, wishbones, hubs, shafts, etc but it's the same shell so they should all bolt straight on. Got lots of bits if you are thinking about it such as engine, mounts, fuel sender and pump, intake.

    Yeah, during mapping on a hot day the fan ran all the time and we also had to have the heater matrix up full with the fan on max. As mine was a track car I wasn't taking any chanced as the original is 16" so why go too small and expect an improvement?

    I had to fit a 14" fan on my turbo motor as the 12" wouldn't cut it. I would fit as big as you can fit and a 14" fitted even around all the intercooler pipework.

    The catch tank is the square box with the two breathers to the top right of the pic. The problem with only a breather filter is that they can blind over with oil and block and then the engine has no breather and so can pop seals. You would need to change the filter regularly but if you had an...

    Yeah, every seal was changed when it was built then I had and issue with oil pump chain cover so changed the gasket for that along with the crank oil seal.

    Take the feed from the breather to a catch tank.

    Cup offset is ET37.5 and std is ET43. Not sure on bore size of the vauxhall wheels.

    The offset is too big so the wheels would look like they are sitting deep in the arches but probably wont rub due to the width and the centre bore would be different so it it larger than 60.1mm then you'll need spigot rings and if smaller they'd need machined.

    When I decided to go fully forged it was quite a back step in terms of completion dates but should be worth it in long run. (I hope! lol)

    Looks very good for under a bag of sand! Just waiting on some parts coming such as oil pump, sump, gaskets, etc then I can build it up. Going to give the block a paint too just to tart it up. Hopefully get to KH for the summer. :rolleyes:

    This^^^ Needs the flexible joint between the manifold and cat. I sleeved the link pipe (where the cat was) to the center section on mine.
