Clio Gearbox & Megane Engine

Hi All

Can anyone tell me if the JB1514 gearbox off a 1.2 16v Clio fit a 1.6 16 v Clio block?

Also is there any difference between the 1.6 engine out of clio or megane? And would the JB1514 fit the megane block?

Sorry for all the questions and if it doesnt make sense then feel free to slap me haha, this is only just popped into my mind as I feed the baby so am multi tasking.

Because its something im looking at doing in my spare time im not arsed if the costs outweigh it

Which makes it worthwhile and rewarding project. Make it too easy for yourself and you'll never be satisfied!

Do you know what needs to be changed on the subframe to convert it to 2.0 cupman

Never really looked into tbh but I would think steering rack, wishbones, hubs, shafts, etc but it's the same shell so they should all bolt straight on.

Got lots of bits if you are thinking about it such as engine, mounts, fuel sender and pump, intake.
