right gotta pretty major problem - which at first i thought woz me imaging it - but it woz confermed when i got the car RRd at the weekend coz the mechanic noticed it too......
i have alot of play in the steering - for example, i could be driving competely straight -but it is...
rear right disk
seems to be perminatly locked on, its gone thro half a pad right down to the metal, and is making 1 hell of a racket now....replacing the pad 2day, but why would it just stick on like that??
its only the rear right, and not left?!!

ok thanks lads..... my mate has a pipercross on his 1.2 punto n it makes quite a nice roar as hes pulls off, so want similar on the billabong.

not bothered about performace really, sound is the main thing as it being 1.2 n all.
from my experience K&N r nice, but the sound of pipercross is better IMO.

iv already stripped the back seats, and ice. but gonna keep my spare wheel til i get there i reckon.

beleive mate, this decat makes the car sound like something totally diff, i haad a magnex decat with ktec exhuiast - nice but not wot i had in mind.
got the decat, n fooook me, its mental!! pops, gargles, raspy!! just nuts!!
iv always had a coolant leek, since i brought it, so nearly a year now. reno were meant to fix it, the previous owner spent 100+ on them to fix it, but obviously they didnt.
so would the leak affect it? PS it aint leaking alot , i still have over half the tank.

how do u know when it needs to be changed?? i think my cars had it done by the previous owner, seeing as its done about 88k.
is there anyway in telling if it needs changing?

weight... u reckon the oil down there could have caused it too shoot out?
i checked the dipstick at the same time as doing this, n its slightly over max, by about 5mm or so, teach me to check next time as im feeling up wont it!
but could this be something to do with there being...
right, took the rocker cover off today, trying to have a look if that rubber seal had erodded (real bad spelling LOL) away, or broke etc... but it looked fine to me?
so why would i have oil down by the spark plugs? something maybe more serious?? engine seems to fun fine? should i just leave it...
i will replace the rubber seal - god knows wot its called, n if it happens again.... il seal it like ur explaining!
oh.... when u take the rocker cover off..... can u like get at the bottom of the spark plugs so i can get ride of all the oil in the holes at the moment?
