Looks good.
I think in front of the gear stick is looking favorite for me at the moment. I need to wait till the scrren arrives to get an exact feeling for the size and viewing angle etc.
But how? To me it looks like the choices are;
ashtray area
over the little screen for the radio/clock
over the air blowers
the passenger sun visor thingy
Are there any pre-fabricated holders etc to make the job easier, Im a bit lazy sometimes!!
Thnx
Hi,
Getting mine done on Saturday and they said it would be 1 hour and around €60 for the programming.
How much was the PLIP? The one I got from Renault was €23 and the blade was €18.
Ciao
I fitted a Blaupunkt obsd 8000 this week. 2 20cm subs and very small. Would recommend it if you just want to add a bit of bass rather than bouncing along the street.
Not sure if its available in the UK though.
Fitted by new sub yesterday. Its a blaupunkt odsb 8000 so nice and small and not taking up too much room. It came with some mounting bracket things but Id like to have it secured but able to take out if needed.
Whats the best way of securing it?
I was thinking of some velcro strips or...
Yes its got the LED in the console.
Is the immobiliser separate from the alarm? Guess I just have to phone them and ask. Anyone know the german word for immobiliser?
Thnx
As explained in this thread --> http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=2&TopicID=91843http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=2&TopicID=91843 I lost my key the other day and when the boy from the recovery opened the door the alarm never went off...
Glad you liked it!! Got to see the funny side really. Funniest bit was the car park attendant explaining to my girlfriend in Bavarian why the big fat old guy that got out the large 7 series BMW dripping with shaky gold bracelets had bought his teenage girlfriend breast implants coz she had a...
Morning,
Yesterday was an absolute nightmare. Started off OK, took a drive down to the mountains, walked aroung some alpine lake getting a nice suntan, all very nice. Then we took out a boat and it started to go wrong. Cant be sure it was then but baheid here managed to lose the car key...
Sorry to hijack but I also fitted new speakers this week and they sound sh1t. So I need to change the wires round on one of the speakers to make sure the + and - are the same way round? And if it doesnt help could it be that the head unit isnt providing a strong enough signal? A new HU is on...
Ive also got a MK1 172 and I find it quite temperamental. Some disks work without a problem but others will say No disk or disk read error. They all work fine in the normal PC CD drive, not burner.
Mine has locks on both doors and the bonnet release is on the left like it should be :D
And the wipers work the proper way too when theyre not frozen to the glass!!
I wasnt in a hurry, cheeky mailto:b@5**rds">b@5**rds!! :devilish:
During the summer, 32 degrees with my 17s on I got 225kph on the clock then it refused to go any faster. Dont know if its limited coz it pulled right up to that then just refused to go any more. Oh, and I still got...
Woke up yesterday and today to -3 and nice dry roads  and my car is absolutely flying :D
Down the autobahn at 180kph and Im having to hold it back!! How do you keep it slow enough the police dont take your license?
Whats all this Everyone will have the blue one. Ive only ever seen 1 V6 on the road and that was in the South of France.
Surely you had this decision to make before you placed the order and decided that Black was the right choice. Youve already got a V6 to drive until then and if youve only...
Did he have his seat belt on? Dont the airbags say SRS or something similar meaning they dont deploy if the seat belt isnt in? If he did have it on, could be a fault in the seat belt part.
Glad hes OK.
Some boy turned up for work in one the other day and parked next to me. Then starts asking me how I find the Clio coz he loves his. :o
How can he think his is the same as mine?!?!?
^^^^^^Agree with Nicky
If you moved a tyre from the OS to the NS and kept the outside writing to the outside then the tread would indeed be back to front surely?
I mean, imagine if the car is driving and the wheels are turning. Now take the wheel off of the OS while spinning and walk...
Remember that the Saxo has been out a lot longer than the 172. When I had my VTS it was too expensive for all the burberry guys but as they get older they are cheaper to buy meaning they are affordable to these people. In a few years it will be exactly the same for the 172 as most of the...
Cost €132 (approx 80 pounds) all in but they only changed the broken one. They hada look at the other side and said it was fine and not to bother changing it yet.
