Hi everyone, I'm back again. Originally had a clio 172 cup, had to many issues with it so went and got a fiesta ST which was to slow even when modded and now I have a clio 182 cup. I've resolved it now, i disconnected the charcoal canister and now its not making the noise any more, sweet!

How can you fix the charcoal canister thing. Is there anything i could buy to sort out a sticking hydraulic lifter or blocked injectors?

Just an update really. Had the cambelt, aux belt, rest of the stuff that goes with those with that done, new water pump, new dephaser, oil and oil filter change done which I did today. The car is still sounding like a diesel and i can hear the noise increase in speed when i rev up slightly. Does...

Are there any torque settings for doing up the sump plug coz i here that can be a b**ch to do? Been told to hand tighten, then do up with a wrench and turn the bolt 1/4 of a turn.

Just spoke to someone at renault and they reckon that the washer includes a plastic insert in the washer and thats all you need to replace? Anybody know if thats correct?

i ordered the washer but i don't know if it comes with the rubber seal. Does that def have to be replaced at the same time?

cost £575 for the cambelt aux belt kits, water pump, dephaser as well. Thought it was a very good price to be honest.

I'm gonna get the filter and sump washer direct from Renault, should be under £10.

Went to GDI today to get the cam belt and aux belt done etc as they needed replacing. They did an excellent job.they were really nice chaps and i'd like to thank the boys down there. I would recommend them to anyone. Car doesn't sound like a diesel any more lol and it feels more responsive! So...

No the water pump is not included as i'm getting mine all sorted this weekend, i'm getting the water pump changed at the same time as well. 300 note is a good price from renault!

the meguiars tech wax is really good, put it on using one of their foam pads they give, wait about 1 min till it dries on the car and then just buff it off using a dry cloth. Pain in the ass waxing but doing it once in a while is fine and the results are quality. Auto Glym are a really good make...

cheers dude. Just used turtle wax shampoo and then waxed it using meguirs tech wax.

just got a K&N induction kit on it so it's sapping power big time from the car and it's been remapped as well. Got any mods on yours mate?
