I've got the KTEC ultra system without the silcencer on my 182 with a decat as well, sounds really nice, quite loud as well!

the throttle feels more responsive now whereas the BMC would really lag when you floored it, chuffed with the setup :)

Got a SS cat back system on my 182 and got a decat fitted as well but I'm disappointed that it doesn't pop and burble on overrun. Does anyone know if the Rs tuner remap will make it pop more etc or go to Jms for the pop and bang remap as I can't see the Rs tuner has a map like this :(

Lovin the flange lol! The idea is to scrap that crappy join between the mid section and the decat so they just slot together! The other half has sorted it now, contacted KTEC and they are replacing it, really sound about it and good customer service. Off to pick up my car from it's MOT...

me thinks i'm gonna get on the blower to renault and order the fitting kit then to see if it stops the blow from the cat/mani joint, can't find the OEM kit online though :(

Interesting coz i've just fitted the NWP fitting kit, springs were fully compressed when fitted and there is still a blow :( may need to order the OEM kit then to see if it improves

Is ur cat buggered then or is it a blow from the cat/manifold joint. My 182 has now started 2 tick/tap on idle now FFS!!!!

Just discovered the blow is coming from where the manifold meets the cat so looks like he'll need a fitting kit :/

Oh rite. Me and my mate just got a new clamp and put some loctite sealant on the joint, still getting a raspy noise under heavy load around 3-4k, maybe it's the characteristic of the exhaust?

Did they say it was blowing at the cat/mid section part? Better off saving for a new system if it's a standard exhaust!

It was that holts stuff from halfords. I told my mate to get another new clamp and some silicone stuff and seal and attatch the mid section on first, let it dry/set then put the rest of the system on lol. Seems such a pain in the arse lol!

Think it is blowing as he put some exhaust paste round the 2 connectors (cat 2 exhaust) and he could hear it spitting lol from the clamp coz he left the car idling to set the paste. What about heatshield bandage over the 2 joins then clamping up. I had a pug 206 gti with the same exhaust joint...
