i have the 2nd stealth from k-tec and it sounds flippin gorgeous mate....if u have decat as well then the sounds completely different and rasps like hell. if oe cat fitted its lush
iv been advised by a mate to add a breather filter on the inlet top (straight after the throttle body) rather than keeping the hose and one on the inlet manifold (a hose usually runs down to the acoustic valve). what do people think?
can someone send me the link to the technical spec of the old Clio Cup race cars please (the 172/182 shape) or put a spec sheet up with all details on engine, drivetrain,chassis etc etc. Cheers!!!!!
my motor has only done 42k miles but will be 5 years old in 5 months or so....should i get it done? also what am i really looking for on the belt cracks and splits etc?
well i will get the aux belt done for sure....as for the cambelt - i thort it was 5 years or 72k miles? i cant really afford to shell out 400 quid on both in one hit!
Last time i had my Cup serviced (36k miles) the garage told me they didnt see any point in changing the aux belt as it was still sound. its coming up for its next service now (48k) so should i insist on the belt being changed this time around? also is it worth getting the belt kit off ebay...
only tellin you what happened. he was tryin - it was my mate who has owned a 1l Polo for time,saved up and got a CTR, so we went for a drive and i had the legs on him. if given a long enough bit of road im sure he would be faster but to about 90-100 i was in front. maybe he bought a lemon lol
iv gone head2head with a type r and pissed it. he was tryin as well - its like whatever gear i was in it took him so much longer to get into the vtec by the time it did i had gone. (i have a cup not a phat boy mk2)
