mine has recently lost power too mate - if i put my foot down it doesnt accelerate anywhere near as hard as it should - have you had the head off, disconnected the cable to the ecu? Also sounds like you could have a fuel problem, think mine is a simple case of standard (and original) fuel filter...

Yeh it does! it gets to 3-4 rpm and slows down in terms of acceleration - still gets to the 6 mark but takes a lot longer to get there - 3rd and 4th are a joke! How do i adjust that ecu thing?

Well, the idle speed will be electronically controlled and the chances are that it will be next to impossible to adjust it. Haynes all the way baby!!

Torx sets are good - got one for £15 - just the heads that should fit on most heads - the torx rench is a bit more expensive around £30 but pretty vital. Have you got a motorist discount centre near you coz they are really good on prices.....
