Sorry mate, thats different then - a 480 lump!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that would be something else! Where would you get it from - would it fit in an rsi? Thats takin fun to the limit!!!!
Am i missing something here. NOS in a an RSI - what a waste of money. For starters you will probably blow the engine up, head first of course, the increse in power will be sh*te, u wont be able to get round corners and it gonna cost you lots of money each time just to keep up with the likes of...
Riiiiiiiight - so we are thinking 2k then peeps. Mine is M reg and has had a lot of work done to get it all runing nicely under the bonnet - will this affect the price? The body work is good - just need to treat a little bit of rust around the rear wiper - im fixing the sunroof, stiff clutch...
You beauty - that much eh? i bought it off some old bloke for about 1600 so i should make a tidy profit! He didnt really seem to know what he was doing!!!! - anybody else got any thoughts?
Hi guys, have got a 95 1.8 16v clio red in great condition inside - outside aint bad - nothing that wont be fixed by the weekend - has new cam belt, new head, 17" oz deep dish with tyres, 96k. Wots it worth guys? im thinking of selling it and i need a ball park - thanks
My passenger side does the same - looks like someone has tried to get into the car but not managed it - i could do with the same advise coz it looks crap when the door isnt flush. Sounds like some metal has been bent perhaps - either the door arm or the catch for the locking mechanism. Best...
Green, ive got one on mine - its loud, oh yes, shame it didnt seem to be any quicker (no surprise) but when you put your foot down u certainly know about it! Quite expensive tho, unless u can get it on trade of course!
Well, what a vat of knowledge for crazy and slighlty unstable ideas u all are!!!;) Think ill stick with the wonder wheels from now on!!! Im actually going to take the wheels off the car and clean them in me kitchen - i shall be avenged - YOU HEAR ME! I SHALL BE AVENGED hahahahahahahah (evil...

Ok, so i get up on sunday morning ready for a day of washing, waxing, hoovering and adjusting and what do i see........ A f***kin dog had pissed all over my rear alloy causing a weired blotch effect all over it - the same seems to have happened to my other rear wheel. It comes off but requires...
U will find that you get a real buuild up of gunk around the end of the side skirt - mind you with the arch liner there mine still got full of mud etc!! - Things may just get a little dirtier but all in all it really should make any difference - quick question - ive got 17s and they rub - is it...
Right, its lunch time and im now going to spend it sealing my sunroof in my work car park -some of us are just so lucky arent we - im gonna seal around the plastic glass surround to the roof - that should stop it - best not make a mess tho!! Wish me luck - no more wet crutch for me!!
Do u need to remove the plastic surround first coz mine does actually come away from the roof in some places!!!! Is it difficult to get off or do i simply need to get the sealant around the edge of the surround? Wont that look a bit of a mess?
It just takes a SAturday and good weather - dont worry about trying to do it ureself coz once u have done it once it just gets easier! MY belt snapped and i had to replace the head - wish i had, had the foresight like you to change it before that happend i can tell ya!!!
Yep, silicon sealant - im in the process of mending mine but with this crappy weather - i cant!! Ive got a tube of sealant which i am going to quite liberally spread all across the plastic surround, and where the sunroof meets the glass - this is wht everyone seems to reccomend.
U have the right idea mate - you will need to remove the drivers front wheel and headlight. REmove the bonet and have easy access to the underside of the car. Mount the engine on wood and off you go. The covers are difficult to get on and off but once you have, the fun really begins. Presumably...
Right, i replaced my head because of the cam belt and it aint easy. You have the right idea - Remove the drivers side support clamp, raise the engine about 3-4 inches using a jack and then lower it onto some wood. Then set to work. You will need to remove the drivers side headlight so that you...
Yeh, labour is a b**ch especially when all they do is work on it for half an hour then have 50 fags, 100 cups of coffee and think about which other parts to replace on your car without you asking for em and then billing you - damn garages!!!! I spose i can put up with it for the time being, just...
