The internals of the V6 engine aren't that strong which is why supercharging is favoured if you don't want the engine to die. Its also about half the price of a turbo conversion.
The boot is quite shallow and has a strut brace across it which makes it slightly impractical - although because there are no rear seats, it goes a long way forward. A slimish suitcase + 2 laptops would fit no problem.
Roy's right - muscle car that handles well is the best way to describe it...
Eibach Pro-kit, 30mm lower than standard. They're progressive springs so the actual ride feels even nicer than before. Haven't pushed it properly to find out how it weights up in faster corners, etc.
This is for all those who secretly like 350z's and Tom16v in particular (for confirming that it needed lowering :clown: ) Was always going to happen, very pleased with the drop.
Ben, the old rears are still on it, and I do plan to pop over soon!
Here's a (sort of) comparison...
Both :rasp:
Considering they're both V6's and RWD they couldn't be more different in feel. The Clio was very high on driver involvement at the expense of being a bit risky at the limit, where as the 350Z is more numb (most cars are compared to the V6) but makes up for it with that big...
If your computer is powerful enough you can download HD torrents and watch them on your xbox using TVersity. Stops you being locked to Microsofts format.
Good work, my 'busa sold itself in the end - people who buy these cars know a good one and that usually means less competition
Welcome back to slooow driving ;)
lol :D
Thanks for the positive responses.
Tom - not sure what make the standard suspension is but its actually very good for OEM, not much bodyroll and stiff without being uncomfortable (we'll soon change that then!). Most standard cars on track feel far too soft (even my M roadster with...
^^^ v.envious!!!
(although the standard wheels look a bit lost....but it has crossed my mind that perhaps the performance is your number one concern! ;))
Erm, its more legal than no plate which looks even better still ;)
I ordered it from 4plates.
I still have my original and quite slippery old rear tyres on it - just for you!! I need to fit some eibach's to it so I'll bring those with me :rasp:
Right, so general consensus is overpriced with debatable results. I was told the problem with a respray will be that they have to match the bonnet and wings = £££. Or is it just because he's going to paint it a different colour!?
I got this stone chip the other day, and had a quote from the local ChipsAway rep - possibly £140 to repair this. Does this sound about right? I have some money on credit with ChipsAway at the moment which is why I will be using them, but I still refuse to be charged over the odds - after all, I...
There are only a few things on TV I like to watch...the only one that is on BBC is top gear, the rest of them (24, Lost, Prison Break) I download and watch when I want to without the adverts. Why get angry with money-grabbing megalomaniacs?
