the hydraulic force is still sent to the ineffective piston, so it won't be that (the force isn't added to that operating on the other piston in the circuit)

you can buy pattern springs for about £40ea, but there's confusion about what they 'match' (every model has different springs) or second hand off here

they transmit more vibration through the shell, hence more engine noise

not a problem with the front belts, as the PTs are in the buckles on the inside of the seats. the PTs for the rears are a part of the reel, which is probably what they're referring to
