Ok had a look at the brake fluid level but the bottle is pretty dirty, what level is it meant to be at? it was probs about 5/6cm down the plastic tube bit?

Only reason I changed was because drivers side was cracked, the disc I put on had about the same wear as the other side so didn't think it would matter too much! But now drivers side is making weird squeeking noises, a lot of the time when im not touching the break, and also the handbrake...

Put a williams disc on the valver passenger side and had all manner of weird problems since, just wondered if they were compatabile!

I thought they are, aren't they?

The dash would fit it in if you had the correct correct top dash obv. But the oil temp/pressure gauage wouldn't work as you don't have the senders in your engine for them! Not sure on the oil level guage if it plugs into your old one? But the other 2 defo won't work and I've not heard of anyone...

Had a pleasent conversation with the buyer this morning, I had said to him id refund him by last friday but after speaking with UPS and them issuing a trace, as well not realising he could be pulling a fast one, I didnt refund him. He rung me up this morning telling me ive been lieing to him...

I do see your point actually I didnt think about it like that before... But surely for those valvers that are overheating too much (ie most of them) it helps by opening sooner so not allowing the engine to get silly hot? Or no? :S

Yup all sorted now cheers guys! Took me least an hour to line the springs back up though as I'd used spring compressors and the ends of the springs had come out of their little resting places :(

I got a ball joint splitter but didnt need it as the balljoint just fell straight out, it was just getting the nut off that was the problem!!

I tried that but I had the springs compressed at the time and the car quite high on axel stands so my jack couldnt reach high enough to put any real pressure on it but good to know it isn't broken I'll have to lower it a bit and try again, cheers!

Well the ball joint itself looks ok the rubber isn't split and i cant be assed with forking out and fitting a new one :( how can I fit it back together then without it spinning again? :S

As above, was a b*tch to get off as the bolt coming out of the ball joint was turning like a b*tch took me like 40 mins to get it off! Is this meant to happen or am I missing something :S
