really good, stiff yet not crashy. it think for the money i spent on them.... bargain of the year!
reduced the body role from standard hugly. overall more planted feel. and looks great aswell, and we have took the wheels off at the front and raised it that many times now i am like the F1 pit team!
In terms of scrubbing, no scrubbing at all as the back is nice and stiff, however i am yet to experiance people sitting in the back :S
in terms of other practicallity issues there epic, alot stiffer yet still dont crack your spine.
i am thinking of raising at the back a little bit just so...
as above, there is a notch of arch liner that sticks out and when my coilovers go down a bit they rub on the wheels.
ben says take a hammer to it, is that right or will it damage somthing?
Mine are fitted now, drove around the isle of wight, handled the bumps with great force lol. overall a very good upgrade and bang for buck, cant seem to get the front to lower much without rubbing on some gay bit if plastic which bulges out of the wheel arch liner.
Finished mine at 2 in th morning, front was a pain in th arse and needed re raising 5 times as it kept scrubbbin in th wheel arches. But now doesn't look much lower than standard, ther is a little plastic bulge In the wheel arch which it kept rubbing on. O well back looks epic though and they...
Fitting mine now, when putting th final part of the top mount on does anyone else find that ther is only about 1mm of thread sticking out th top compared to standard where there is about 7mm? When I say thread I'm on about th top end of the strut. Cheers guys
Mine will be fitted with my bro this Sat/sun on the isle of wight, (visiting family).
then i will be driving back 200 miles of motorway and a roads so wont be the best road test but will see how they endure. also will be doing some roads on the isle of wight, which, may i add, has more pot...
Re: Project 172 **** ITB'S - 204bhp *** February Redline Feature
His CL pads were shocking, good friction, but covered his car in carbon dust within 10 seconds, and eat his already historical disks!
its said the be between 6-8 acording to a magazine review, but BHP is pub figures, chances are your clio wont be running above 168 BHP at the moment anyway. its all about the way the rs tuner changes the way the engine delivers the power, which is smoother, earlyer in the revs and all round more...
Do you get a free retest within 14days? if so give it a good thrashing before MOT so zorst is hot, (think this helps with the emmisions test) then if it passes De-cat it! if it fails sports cat it, lol. you just have to find a Friendly MOT'r who will overlook the slight iligal modifaction when...
They were bad on the 1*2 as the 1*2 doesnt really like induction kits, however on a 1.2 even i you lost power, it wouldnt really be anything you would notice, besides i hear they sound epic so who cares.
