had it for a while now, sounds like the new mini's power steering whine. the pitch of the whine gets higher with the revs, thought it could be my gear box but i can clutch down and rev it and its still climbing with the rev's. Any one got any ideas?

Great, from what i have gathered from this thread i really want eibach sportlines, but my problem is that i will need new shocks anyway so price there would be around £250 ish for that setup, which is pushing coilover money, and if i was to consider Raceland coilovers its half the price of new...

very well put, but what i am looking for is both looks and handling, i dont need full race handling, just a more solid feel, and a medium drop, not into slammage and think 30mm will be fine for me! i am now looking into raceland coilovers as they are epic cheap

very fair point, but for me the difference between springs and coilovers is £200. if the difference was £900 i wouldnt even be considering it.

What i would really like to know is if someone has gone from lowering springs to coilovers, and if the difference was substantal.

really need some good advise. i am going to buy one of the above options very soon. mainly after better handling, plan on using it for smashing up country lanes at the weekends and maybe a few trackdays a year, but prob no more than two. ben has advised me to save money and go for lowering...

ok i have had a email from the guy, he says the bore is 58mm with a ring which you can remove and will add 10mm onto the diameter. he says the ofset is 42 now! lol but that should be fine, how do i stand with the bore?

final question, i need one replacment wheel for my set of super turismos, now if i get one with a different offset from the rest, what is the outcome?

ok guys the wheels didnt sell so i need to know if they will fit, the info he has gave is PCD 100x4 and he says the the offset is ET37. what questions shall i ask him so i can find if they fit?

yep rs tuner, the latest map is epic, if you havnt modded ure cars engine much then its the best option, id say keep the rs tuner for data logging and fault code removal
