Yeah. Your scrap values are a bit out of date. Full car is about £125/£150 at my local scrappy. If you are stripping it and leaving say 1/3rd of the weight then they are still covering fuel and making something.

So you have a scrap car with an engine that is probably the most valuable thing on the car with new belts and dephaser last year.
If you were closer I would have the engine and box off you.

Last one I done I stripped everything off including doors and boot and called the local scrappy to uplift the shell for free.
If the engine and gearbox works I would def remove it. You can lower it on a pallet or two trolly jacks.

Should be fine. I’m 6-2 and don’t have any problems.
The standard seat position is a bit high. But if you are going to track it you can address that with changing the seat and fitting it as low as you want.

Not noticeable really from the drivers seat but I’m competing so would favour them since I have both anyway. For the money new I would go with TDs again. Plus I actually think they look better.

Just swapped from my Oz ultra legerras to my TD 1.2 tonight and thought I would weigh them
Just under 21kg wheel and tyre (r888) for the Oz wheel.
