The 8200 7804 is the ron98 map for the 182 so shall not be any good to a 172.. And the 8200 5411 f4r736 1110 cal is the pops n bangs map iirc for the 182 so shall not be any good either.

As Dan said above its not got anything to do with the timing belt.. yes they are meant to be pretty strong but mine wasn't lol only lasted 60k and the bearing failed in it!! Had the car checked out and was diagnosed with a faulty dephaser (which had recently been changed) or failed rocker in...

air box out one connector and 2x10mm bolts.. its located on the top of the gearbox bell housing underneath the thermostat/CTS housing can't miss it

TDC sensor by the sounds of it!! take it off and clean it up..

Don't mean to be blunt but you know what you can afford and its your car... Personally though i agree the brembos look very nice.. but cost a bomb so i would buy a brand new standard setup
