If its the foam type that's meant to be cleaned I used to wash in very hot soapy water, in reverse airflow direction to remove all the sucked in grit and dust. leave it to dry naturally is best but I used to speed it up with a hairdryer.

Re: First 182 - Inferno with Cup Suspension
Good progress, I put a link in a thread yesterday for an inferno touch up paint kit, just in case you where looking one to touch in odd scratches like the one above :)...
Which side do you think it is?
I replaced the CV joint on my girlfriends suzuki alto only to get the wrong side replaced, but that was due to me not really test driving it :quiet: luckily it was only £25 a side.
I'm not 100% but I think the CV joints on the 182's might be new drive shaft time only.
You can buy universal replacement boots, but if its already clacking its new drive shaft time. I think you can buy reconditioned shafts.. might be worth looking into that.
And yeah behind the brake disc...
Yeah they do sell them on ebay
cheapest first option throws up

Could be the CV joint, find an empty car park go full lock left or right and accelerate enough to move the car keeping full lock on the steering, if you hear clacking its the CV joint one side or another.
Same company on ebay, right paint code for inferno.. I got mine off ebay as well, no problems. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-30ml-Car-Touchup-Paint-Repair-Kit-ORANGE-SANGUINE-D38-/221131937128?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item337c7d9568
See if here have a match for your colour. They don't do black gold anymore so got mine from here, been a very good match.

Quick question. I've bought 3x 1L bottles of 'Valoline GL-5 80w90 Gearbox oil to refill my gearbox after its been refurbished.
Then I remembered its 3.1L from dry.
If I get a 500ml bottle of carlube 80w90 just for that 100ml extra it might need will that be fine? Seems stupid to buy another...
If my bulbs where the originals when I took them out which I'm pretty sure they where then they where Osram Xenarc, the standard colour is 4300k
The bulbs are D2S fitment, and your right they are exspensive if you go for the branded bulbs.
Heres a list of D2S bulbs...
When you have all the screws/trim out etc and are really to get the dash off. sit in the passenger seat and pull the dash gently but firmly directly back towards you. Don't pull it up as it can get stuck on the airbag clips but it wont if you don't yank it up.
Reset the brake pedal first, push brake pedal down with hand, twist sensor anti clockwise and out, I left it plugged in, pull the plunger out it can be a bit stiff, once out click back in. I did 3 clicks. Then use a mirror or have someone check your brake lights respond well.
I had the ESP + Serv light coming on every once in a while, after some research I found it could be the brake pedal sensor needing resetting, YAW sensor contacts (found under handbrake cover) could need cleaning or steering angle sensor.
You have the ABS + Serv lights though, If I can remember...
They all do it apparently
